Basically any mech not named: Stinger, Wasp, Warhammer, Marauder, Archer, Ostscout, Ostrock, or Longbow.

When hanse davion started the next succesion war the wolfhound was already out and being tested in house units and select merc units such as the Kell Hound. When Morgan Kell returned to lead the kell hounds he issued a new mech to daniel allard since he sacraficied his light to try and save patrick kell life. The new mech was the kell hound and was a brand new design t the time. Captured wlf hound were taken apart by house kurita and that how they came up with the wolf trap 45 ton mech just to combat the wolfhound that was to much for the panther to handle.

Hatamoto-Chi as a symmetrical non-mobility gimped Victor please.

This, so very this. The Hatamoto has a number of different variants that are period suitable, closely apes the Thug to fulfil people's desire for Warhammer loadouts and gives Kurita fans another faction 'Mech to boot.

As much as I like the panther, until they un-couple engine rating from agility so that even slow mechs can have fantastic agility the panther really has no business being in MWO.

My hope is for the Javelin, Grasshopper or Zues.

Actually, Ostscout, Ostsol, and Ostroc are clear; they're not Unseen.

Beautiful art, but left arm with an elbow is a betrayal of everything the Guillotine represents!

But didn't the Dragon receive the same treatment? how would they move their arms to the side?

By having a third crosshair that just goes up/down and stays even with the torso crosshair.

The TRO3025 Dragon actually had the full actuators just the Loose art was vague so people assumed it was a barrel arm. Same deal as the Commando's "weird" head or the Enfield's legs. TRO3050 and the Grand Dragon it was shown with an elbowed gun arm similar to the MWO Dragon uses.

The Guillotine in TRO2750 always lacked the lower arm actuator so was barrel arm from the start, but even the non-IIC has one instance of art with an elbow in TRO3025 Revised.

Oh okay. had to checkout the stats on MechFactory. i always thought the 3025 illustration which had a lower arm actuator was a supposed to be a correction.

Maybe make that third crosshair a square or a diamond shape. Square for IS for it's + reticle and diamond for it's x reticle.

"The Assassin is popular for its long-range capabilities thanks to a Holly-5 LRM launcher in the right side of its torso. Its primary short-range weapon is a Holly-2 SRM launcher in the torso's left side, supported by a Martell Medium Laser in the right arm."

This is what's wrong with MWO; a loadout like that can NEVER be viable in this game. A single LRM-5 is pathetic, and calling a SRM-2 a "primary short-range weapon" is laughable. Who even mounts SRM-2's?

Same with my favourite, the Panther. 35 ton, 64 kph light with a single PPC and a SRM-4? Terrifying in TT, laughably bad in MWO.

I hate what MWO has done to stock 'mechs and stock loadouts.

It's all in how the weapons were implemented.

Would you go 129 kph in a city if a Jenner going 97 slips, falls on its back and slides 90 meters right to the out of bounds? Just one of the many things..

True that, about stock.
But let's look at its potential here in MWO.
The Assassin is a medium mech that we still don't have.
40 tons and 118kph stcck, means at least 130/140kph custom, like a cicada but with JJ.
It would have different hardpoint too: 3 Assassins with a different mix of energy and missiles loadout (3energy+2missiles//2energy+3missiles ecc. and one has ECM). Better hardpoint that a Cicada, IMO

Still we don't have a little "hit and run", or a little harasser like this.

Look at this: we have the HERO Assassin too:
  • ASN-30 Assassin Alice A customized Assassin created by Lyran MechWarrior Alice Humpterderby of the 24th Lyran Guard The Assassin was rebuilt with Davion salvage during the FedCom Civil War. The Mech is equipped with 7.5 tons of Ferro-Fibrous Armor. It has four Extended Range Medium lasers: two mounted in the torsos and a pair in the right arm. The lasers have been connected to a salvaged Targeting Computer. The 'Mech has been fitted with a C3 Slave Computer a Beagle Active Probe, and ten Double Heat Sinks.

Grasshopper would end up pretty bad I think. Like a 70 ton Quickdraw. Panther's 'big claim to fame' is the PPC, but every 35 ton mech can carry one of those while moving faster. Javelin? Do we have any 30 ton missile mechs? If not, then it would fill a niche nicely..

I think the last Kurita mech sale showed off how poorly they are represented, so a Hatomoto-Chi would be a good choice. Plus it has all those great ballistic points.

I would like a Hoplite, because 55 ton Cicada 3Ms are cool. That is if we can get the HOP-4Bb. As a proud Marik I would like to see the Hermes II. The Assassin would also be pretty sweet.

I think Light mechs in general will run out of options much faster than the heavier mechs. They all pretty much rely on energy and missiles, and there are only so many places you can stick them and call then really unique.

I like the idea, but the tech in it wouldn't work. The C3 system isn't implemented and IS ER Mediums are not yet available.

Panther could conceivably go the Kit Fox route and be a support Light with heavier armor. I mean, *WHEN* they release the Urbanmech, it'll have that, too - not as fast, but heavily armored.

I think the mauler would be neat, if only from the stand point that the 3 available variants all have different names.

Mauler MAL-1R
Daboku DCMS-MX90-D
Linesman LMN-1PTS

Unfortunately they all have nearly the exact same loadouts.

The assassin would be a good addition if properly sized (seems unlikely at this point, PIGGY only makes mechs too big not too small). And Bishop did some artwork that is amazing.

Never seen them do that but i would love it. Also would be cool if mauler daboku andlinesman had slightly different models too

Urbanmech will be their highest selling IS mech. Wait and see.
