There should have been an incentive to play on the test server. Barely any of my unit is playing or my friends. Free mechbay would do it for those participating. Something to seriously think about for next time.

New map and being able to buy mechs for mc is not enough? Who would want such people on the test server? They'd only come, drop in one match to get the freebie and never report anything.

Really liking the new map so far!!! Brawiling in my Awesome is... awesome.

I found the Mechbay in the B2-ish area. What I didn't expect was the awesomes (all 4 of them) had my paint job...

I'm pretty sure this wasn't the intended functionality, but I found it funny. :D

Problem is that many many people would rather play to level up there maps or to make c-bills. They test the map a few times and thats it. Maybe play all of the clan mechs? But this is not the first time that the test server had a low population. Some kind of incentive would bring em out of the woodwork that would carry over to the live server.

like say, letting us keep the 25000 MC they give you to play with other mechs in the TS. :D

Several places I flound I could jump into but since my feet didn't contact the ground, I couldn't move and JJ were done. Maybe JJ should recharge whenever not in use instead of only when feet are on the ground???? Not sure why they wouldn't.

Why should they do that?

Don't resist your deires, step over to the Urbanmech side of the force. You are weakening inside, I can sense it, I can feel it.

Soon you will be free to ride the true power, to exult in the true nature of mechwarriorhood. You will be one of us eventually.

I feel a great disturbance in the force, as if 1,000,000 Urbie souls cried out at once and were silenced......

I got about a dozen matches in last night. Map is a refreshing change. Got stuck and fell out of world after I died. Where do we post the feedback? Or is the feedback thread not up yet, or is this it?

Edit: Never mind, I found it. http://mwomercs.com/...l-map-feedback/

Unit creation is novel. I was able to send an invite to my unit to a player who was offline at the time. This is good.

Aesthetically, I wish I could re-name existing ranks, or somehow transfer the unit's founder to a different rank than General of the Army. I would have preferred the top rank be named something else.

The star map did not display in faction home.

The new map will be a welcome addition. We observed a timberwolf get stuck at 2240 2955.

Aesthetically, it is a very busy map, and I eventually fell into a state of disorientation after prolonged play, but I suspect this is due to many many drops with this map being the only one in rotation for play testing.

As a side note, Jump Jet performance was noticably stronger in public test. Will this performance be coming to the standard game?

There's a pencil at the left side of the rank name that allows you to rename it.

Should be noted that the Tier 5 Weapon modules are unlockable in this public test patch

If getting a competitive advantage or wanting to make the game better or using the free MC to test run mechs before buying wasn't enough.... not sure we'd have wanted you there. Personally I had a blast (once the first "patch" went in). :D

I also did some testing lastnight. The map looks really promising. I personally did not encounter any issues with it but a lot of other players I was in were reporting issues and said they'd post on them here.

Map is nice, but lots of places to stuck on, im sure you already know that though. I like the weapon ranges up to 5 addition, and i like no heat penalty for using them, even though im pretty sure, that won't last long.

Love the faction creation, aside of map NOT showing in "Inner Sphere Home" other assets of the tool seems to be working greatly. So nice job on that. Once again, i have something to look forward to after so many dissapointments.

that will probably be fixed by the time of release. That map looks so cool:), and it could be interactive.

Massive graphic artifact issues. Many times I could not see anything due to objects being stretched from one horizon to the other and from below the map to above the sky. Many holes causing mechs to get stuck. Walls and floors appearing and disappearing. That being said, when I was able to see things clearly I really liked the new map.
