While the EULA likely protects them from having to "hold up their end" because standard internet pseudo-contract, again, they have done such compensations before. As their ticket-response says, however, they do the compensation for everyone at once, after they have reasonable belief (right or wrong as that belief may be) that the problem is at least mitigated.

A EULA isn't even close to as water proof as people assume it to be. If the company I worked for failed to deliver on a service, regardless of whatever some legal piece of paper says, if a court were to look at they'd ask, "Did they pay for this product/service? Yes. Did they recieve this product/service? No? Then I do believe you need to compensate."

A EULA basically only says "if you misuse this product we can take it from you." Which is similar to my company's "if you start causing problems I can have you escorted out of the store."

But in all, I'd like to say that PGIGP will probably be compensating users as a whole. Will update the thread once I get a response to the email.

email support. I have clan mates who have had success getting pauses on their premium time.

Support told me they can't stop the timer, how odd, either PGI play favorites or your passing on incorrect infomation

OP no they won't, when you talk of wanting to be compensated, they quote section 8 of the ToS at you.

Customer relations isn't high on PGI's list when premium time is involved, ergo I buy no more premium time or infact spend money on this title until they at least make some token gesture

Thing is last time they compensated a major issue, they told us to claim through a support ticket on a case by case basis, and they told us this before the hotfix for the maintenance bug was in place.

Personally I don't think they have the ability to fix this and they hope that everyone shuts up about it, before clans were introduced, and ignoring some balance issues, which needed fixing, the game ran pretty good, for me at least, and the desync wasn't hitting large amounts of people, this became a big problem when they introduced the rejoin feature.

while it's unfair to pin this issue on one added feature, its also not right to expect people to not want some form of compensation when an issue goes on and on the 19th 'improvements' didn't work and for a lot of people its become worse, for me its less, but its still there, and it remains a substandard state for this claimed AAA rated game..

this is a classic example of why lifetime subs are extremely dumb..
and its extremely dumb to continue buying pgi packages which include premium time as part of the 'bargain'

Not likely in this case. They introduced something that tanked many players ability to use their payed content. Had I changed ISP or moved and couldn't utilize the product/service then that's on me. If no variable on my end changes, but variables on their end change and suddenly customers lose their ability to utilize their content, then that fault lands in PGI's hands.

An what are those reasons?

The game was unplayable several times for a few of my members. Usually extreme frame rate issues brought on by patches.

A lot of these guys had spent a lot of money on the game and it was awhile ago. I think the last time might have even been when 8v8 was turned to 12v12. If you have a legitimate issue (ie literally cannot start the game) I don't see why they wouldn't pause your premium time.

Unrelated question: did you get your clan tags removed via support or did you make an alt account? I only ask because I am interested in removing tags prior to unit formation.

Emailed support

Other people play without problems.
How can you be sure that it isn't your ISP or any other reason?

Lol... you're an ignoramus.
