Ya - PGI has an interesting way of dealing with these issues. I have heard others complaining about the same treatment.

To say this game is pay-to-win is absurd. There is nothing you can buy for money that you can't also buy with in-game currency.

Yes, new mechs are often available at first only for real money. Yes, many people are complaining about clan mechs being OP, and being new, they're currently mostly obtainable with only really money.

(But.... yes *sigh*, many people are always complaining about something being OP. I personally never really have a problem with the current OP flavor of the day - I win some, I lose some, regardless of the latest balancing attempt. For example, I seem to win or lose at the same rate regardless of if I'm piloting an IS mech or clan mech. But I digress. I should have said this:)

Even if someone does think that clan mechs are OP, they'll soon be able to use in-game currency to buy whichever clan mech they think they need to win.
