Hello Mechwarriors,

is there any way to disable the ingame chat?
Im sick of reading unit advertising and drunk rambling or useless smalltalk.

Sometimes i get so fed up i just TK some of those nuisances and i would rather not in the future.

1. Don't TK. Ever.
2. Don't be an arrogant jerk. You're not better than them.
3. No, there is no way to disable chat.

I know the amount of spam, hostility, and random nonsense in chat in most matches is way larger than the amount of meaningful tactical messages. You just have to deal with it. It's a team game. If your team did have something tactically meaningful to say, wouldn't you regret having turned off chat?
