The awareness is already strong, instead of offering rewards to people for the challenge, you could offer the 7-day premium for a donation recipe or something like that or rewards depending on the amount donated by people.
Sorry for being a party pooper but it's just the way I feel.
keep rocking I love the game!

NO
Sarah's Jenner was for a true caritative purpose !
But if you look at the info what the ALS Ice Bucket organization is doing with the cash they get :
http://www.alsa.org/...nformation.html
then you will see that over 50% of what the ALS Association receives appears to support salaries of people working for the Association !
Just check yourself their 2013 tax report :
http://www.alsa.org/...006-11-2014.pdf
Charities and fun activities like the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge can often give us a feeling of contributing to something very helpful and worthwhile, but it is always wise to research any charity first. Examining their tax returns is one good way to find out where their money is actually being spent.

Mex, people know, let people have some fun! And I used water from the sea so not exactly wasting it! I donate to charities such as the poppy appeal, Afghanistan trust and help for heroes. Just like egomane said

Recorded yesterday, tried to post but the forums were down.
To those complaining, it's a bit of fun to raise awareness and help charity. Claiming the money is wasted on salaries is ludicrous; these are charitable people helping others, but they also need to earn a living to survive.
If you have a problem with our, move along and do something else, but to call this down is to belittle something that people obviously feel strongly enough to participate in.

What waste? Most these people are doing it outside over grass, so the water is just watering the lawn. Your argument makes no sense.
Now...if they were collecting all the water after use, bottling it up, and then hiding it on a shelf in the dark corner of some cellar, then yeah, that may be considered wasteful...
...But otherwise, the water remains in the water cycle.
