We here at the Warpigs Merc Co (WMC) have a pretty simple philosophy when it comes to MWO, have fun and a simple motto, eat more chicken. Since 1996 when it first formed, the WMC has been actively involved with the Battletech franchise. It's roots began in the old AOL Solaris Multiplayer Battle Tech when a group of friends decided to get together and form a clan. The WMC has seen it's ranks grow and shrink over the course of the past 18 years as different Battletech games have come and gone. With the introduction of Mechwarrior Online some of the original WMC members formed back up and have been slowly increasing the ranks of the unit. Now that Community Warfare has been released it has become apparent that we need more members. [/color]

WMC isn't a hardcore competitive unit. We have mostly been a casual unit since it's inception. Over the course of the years competitive companies have formed within WMC, but their membership has been purely optional. To become a member of the WMC is simple, and to apply a pilot must only meet a couple very simple standards.

1. Must love playing MWO[/color]
2. Must have a generally good attitude and get along well with others.[/color]

That's it. Joining the WMC is pretty simple. We have new pilots and old veterans. A WMC member can be brand new to the game, or have been playing a version of MW since the original in 1989. If the recruit is brand new to the game, our combat instructors and other WMC members will take the time to help teach him/her and if the recruit is a seasoned veteran, our members will look forward to learning more from him/her.

The WMC currently host's two weekly community events called Hump Day Hooligans and Friday Night Fights (both to resume after the holiday break). If you want to check us out first then you are invited to join us for one of those events. Or you can check us out right now at our website.
