Funktion To Scan Allies?

I dont now if there was any suggestions like this before, but last game i had an idea.

How about an option to scan the loadout of allies in the match? just like we do with foes while targeting them.
we could implement a seperate button for targeting allies, of course without the missile lock-on function, and while targeting them we could get more detailed information about their status and loadout.
It could be usefull to see who needs support in close combat, and who carries long range and needs shielding. just to bring up some examples.

in addition we could actually judge the stage of damage they have taken. The percentage number we got right now doesnt tell us if the guy next to us is close to be cored.

it looks like a usefull feature to me, wich should be easy to implement, but maybe i miss something.

this are just some first thoughts about that.
i would appreciate a discussion,

Or add something to the drop preparation screen which would be easy to implement
eg rigth after mech name
