Anyone participating in this weekend's challenge has seen plenty of suiciders. You know the ones, taking a trial mech, charging into the enemy at the beginning of the match, dying horribly, then disconnect hoping that your team pulls out a win for you. Rinse and repeat.

This puts a drain on those of us actually trying to complete the challenge for real.

PGI: Is there something that can be done to establish a "minimum participation requirement"?

It's their fault for putting that stupid requirement, that depends mostly on luck, and barely on your skill. If team play was allowed, it would be fine, but playing only pugs, no matter what you do, the other 23 players will decide what happens.

It seems they are pulling a Gaijin here. Gaijin put almost every challenge with win conditions in their summer madness, so people used suicide tactics or bomber rush tactics, whatever could net wins faster.

If there are as many suiciders as you say the odds of having them in your and opposing teams are even. It's just those who suck now have someone to blame.

Was it really that bad for other people? I saw maybe 3 or 4 games out of the 30 or so I played this weekend where a player blatantly ran out and suicided himself against the enemy front. Okay, there was one game where 3 people did so, but out of 30 games, it was still a relatively low percentage.

How often was this for everyone else?

Well was always a phenomenon, but I dont think it is worth to address it. Because its relatively rare and can happen to new players and maybe some ppl. like the feeling to yell "JERONIMOOOO!!" while pulling the throttle up. I don't know.

I've seen over 30 of these over my past 120 games since friday without any exaggeration.

I actually ran into enemy by accident a couple of times as they had radar dep etc butthe obvious discos need banning and we need a good report feature.
