Spit-wad PPCs replaced fast ones and oddly mechs are dying faster than ever before because they were forced to switch to something that was better than original PPCs. So funny, but so true.
No Dropships, not even scenery ones. No map every month ever happened.

i can tell you that collision damage was in game fairly recently. i had the ****** luck to find it. i was in such shock i tried to get a screencap of the death screen but accidentally recorded video

I'd argue that the jump jet change was in the same vein as repair-rearm removal. They couldn't get that working in a non grindy way and after 2 years they couldn't reconcile jump jets with pop tart usage, so gave up and hobbled them into the ground. The change was for 'balance', but only because they didn't want to spend the time integrating the two concepts better.
Also, did LRMs have the ability to re-lock on or lock on after launch at one point? Currently anything other than staring down your target for the entire duration will cause them to go into the ground.
