So I just had this weird problem where I lost connection before a game started and managed to connect back into the game. However when the game started, I had no HUD whatsoever, all except the chat console and the game scoreboard. (Having no IFF made it interesting though). Dying very quickly however, I went onto spectate and viola, the HUD was back.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there a workaround to toggling the HUD On and Off? Or have I encountered one of those evil computer wizardry things?

Try next time (and hopefully it will never happen again...sigh... ) to turn off and on hud (F11 shift ) if powering down doesnt work

Powering down and back up again works for me as well....or overheating! 
I found it out when i ran into a Rejoin match in my NOVA of course lol. Thing always overheats!
Apparently PGI is aware of the bug but sending a ticket/ posting it in Feedback wouldn't hurt.
