JUST.... stop it. Why must login redirect to home page instead of staying on the forum page I'm viewing!!?!! I lose my topic, lose my topic page, lose my place on page, lose my patience, lose my sanity, lose my wife, lose my... well - you get the gist.

These accounts will hold your money in future and your earned c-bills.
Game itself including and forums made like bank security to protect our personal information, our accounts and our money.
Thats why system keep us log off to protect your account.
Side note this maybe the only game online without hacks and cheats cause PGI obessed with security

Every single time I want to check the forums? That seems silly. I don't always feel the need to post, but when I do, I'd prefer to stay on the page I'm already on.

I think you've somehow missed what I'm suggesting (language barrier maybe). Upon login, it redirects to the top page of the site instead of just reloading the page you're on. This is a completely useless, if not counterproductive redirect. I don't even remember the last forum I was signed up on that did this - but it was many... many moons ago. Really has nothing to do with security.
Tiny quip, yes. But - equally tiny effort required for solution.
