I don't know. I loved that "spawn at human size" thing on Terra Therma when it came out. That's definitely the sort of thing you should let hang around production for two weeks like they did. /sarcasm
I'm bummed the new map isn't out because man Crimson was a while ago, but it sounds like it's not ready, so this is clearly the right call.

HPG Manifold was in december 2013 or january 2014.
Speaking of which, it doesn't show up in rotation very often these days.
Maybe because the jump jet nerfs messed up the gameplay on it lol.

I still get HPG quite a bit. Had like, 4 or 5 games in a row on it on Sunday.

As stated on the Test Server notes for that specific test, the new map was only due out in 2 weeks.
- It was exclusive to that test.
- We were to attempt to locate issues and break as many things as we could.
- Report our finding's and allow PGI to fix them before the release time.
I'm sure the designers and their elves are all busy at working on the many issues and concerns we discovered.

It didn't feel quite finished even if the stuck spots weren't there, though. It has a bit bad performance, and could use more texture work.

And somewhat more consistent lighting/shadow work.
Bright areas with no light sources. Shadows that go in a different direction than the visible light source. Shadows that hide within shadows, but in night vision are as clear as day (while the other shadows magically disappear). On thermal and night vision the map needed some serious work as none of it was consistent. It's as if a completely different set of light sources magically exist on night vision And like with all maps, things that should produce heat are not and things that shouldn't produce heat magically are.

All three of the different vision maps are designed independently.
Although CryEngine does have the ability to render all the normal lighting by itself, it needs the light sources to be coded, designed and placed for this to function correctly.
- The thermal vision items need separate layouts and images as well as there code to all be matched for that effect to work correctly. Same with the night vision mode.
- Lots of back and forth work between each mode to ensure that it all works correctly.
- And not something that a single person could probably do. (or would want to)
