I'm getting network errors when I try to connect to the patcher. I get errors when connecting to the mechlab. I get errors saving loadouts. Suddenly all these problems started happening. Plus when it does connect it takes forever. I've already ran the repair tool and nothing. This all just happened suddenly.

I've been having a lot of "unknown failure" messages, too. Mostly when "connecting" after first logging on.

seeing the same thing, got kicked out while loading a match (just *blink* back to desktop) and got repeated unknown errors when logging in again after relaunching.

also seeing lots of microlag stuttering I didn't see before the patch. maybe the old data center is getting revenge for being left behind?

I have the same problem. I was playing just fine and then suddenly, bugs. Somebody spray some raid on PGI.

Yeah I think the servers just took a big ol dump around 21:30hr EST. They're technically up but they aren't responding for crap.

This. Took me 5 tries to connect to mechlab.

Yes, problems started directly after the recent "hot fix". Unknown failures being the most frequent together with being thrown back to the login screen.

As for the additional time it takes to connect to the Mechlab, I suspect that the new faction map causes an additional load time. About 5 seconds on my system every single time I reenter the Mechlab...
