Bless you, C-Bill Novas and Trial Kitties. The number of ECMs dropped dramatically and my recently purchased 5M could never be happier. Just got the "Ace of Spades" achievement thanks to the perfect storm of good scouts, Alpine Peaks, and plenty of back-up weapons.

The fight started favorably when I killed 3 mechs (1 Firestarter, 1 Nova, and a Banshee) in G11 city using my LRM35 thanks to our Lights and the score was 4-1. The enemy pushed back our assault from the road north west of the peak at G8 and quickly made the score 6-6, but I managed to kill 2 more mechs (wounded T-Wolf and Summoner) in that fight.

The enemy then counter-attacked by climbing the slope and by that time my LRMs had run out of ammo so I fought with the others using my LPL and 3 x ML. The last fight was a relatively short and brutal brawl since almost all of us were low on armor. Managed to kill 3 more mechs with the lasers, including a Direwolf, another Nova, and a Vindicator, before falling to the last enemy--an Adder. Good thing I managed to strip all the leg armor from the Adder before I died and our last mech, a Locust, finished him off after an agonizingly long circle of death, where the Locust's CT internals were on the verge of being destroyed. It was an insanely close match.

Premium time was running so the rewards were unbelievably good, making it that much easier to get to Master level with the 5M.

NICE! I'm using my new 5M as a SRM boat, not getting any results like that, but walking up to an atlas, dead atlas, walking up to a direwolf, dead direwolf is fun too.

I use the 3F for my brawler Stalker build due to wider torso twist range, but I agree with the 5M being the better brawler. The CT slot is very valuable, as well as the 5 missile points.

I am kinda surprised that took you that long to get this one Bandito - but congrats

I've been using the 2xPPC 3xML and 5xLRM5 build, as it is the perfect hill-humper. Will probably change it to something like yours, though I find 2xPPC better against ECM than TAG :-)

Kinda hard to secure a kill in an LRM boat, in my experience. Some DF mech always manages to hit the spot I opened up.

That's why I don't go LRMing stuff
I prefer to know I'm the sole reason for the "Target Destroyed..." voice message.
Not to mention when you brawl stuff - the things you kill will almost always hear your warhorn.
I'm sooo waiting for the YARDSALE one - it's the most I find to sound really... clan-ish

This is the reason why, whenever possible, I drop what I'm doing and try to rip the wings off stalkers.
*Although looking at it, the CT doesn't have much more HP than the sides, so guess I should just try to kill them outright from now on.

The end of that match was great, as was the lrm rage. I noticed your kills, but had assumed you would already have that achievement for some reason. Anyway, congrats. Would've given them in match if I had known.
