I hate the Nova so far. Not hate, sorry, loathe.

The only thing I can think of is to have a "shield" side with 6 CERSML and the strong side with 6 CERMED and see what happens there....

If only the arms were inverted with the guns high, not low.

NVA-S and NVA-B left torso omipods have 2 ballistics each.
NVA-S right torso has 2 ballistic
NVA-B right arm has 1 larger ballistic

This is correct but honestly, I can't find a ballistics build (other than MGs) I find viable. About the only thing you can fit (and have enough weight left over for ammo for) is a single UAC/5 or LB-5x and even then you end up losing too many MLs (and firepower) and/or end up too hot.

I would kill to be able to add endosteel to this mech though. That would give just enough room for 6 C-ER ML, 2 UAC/2s, 4 tons of ammo and enough DHS to be fairly cool.

oh well in TT werent they just meant for use vs infantry and such? so they wouldnt be needed that often anyways?

Depends on how many you have and how you use them. I've got lots of builds with 10+ CMGs on them. Once you get in their face, it sandpapers their armor fast.

Blame the artists?

In this game, having no natural arm articulation would give you naturally higher firing points on the arms... see BJs.

Unless you could put them in the side torso, which generally have high firing points... it won't change anytime soon.

I've been playing all the Nova's stock, and have to say i like them all. My favourite is probably the Prime though, even if it is a little hot :P
