But if you already have the blackjack, it's less appealing.

The Vindicator has more torso twist, elbows, and some have missile hardpoints, so there are lots of smaller differences

Impressions of the SIB are mostly favorable even with only basic skills unlocked but really looking forward to seeing the improvement when it will be elited.
Admittedly, hardpoints are a little underwhelming but they can work well enough.

Need some builds for the VND? Want some help? Sure! But to just speak out your arse about it is ignorant.

I swear, if I got MC every time a mech was announced as DOA by some ***hat, I wouldn't need to buy any at all. Let's see, the list of mechs that are DOA: Raven, Firestarter, Spider, Trebuchet, Kintaro, Griffin, Wolverine, Blackjack (incidentally one you love), Vindicator, Quickdraw, Jagermech, Orion, Battlemaster, Stalker, Banshee.......

I don't think the VNDs will ever provide any reason you should purchase them other than pokemech. But... that in itself is a valid reason i guess.

About half of them are pretty much DOA, so frankly I don't quite see your point

DOA if you suck

I don't think you really know what DOA refers to. When a mech is pretty much inferior in just about any situation when compared to other mechs, it's DOA. Not that you can never do well in it. So sucking really doesn't have anything to do with it.

Blackjack would eat this thing for breakfast.
Any clan medium would eat two of them for breakfast, then drink a 6 pack, and eat two more of em.
Can it still be a useful medium in the right hands, of course it can, but considering what its up against VS any other medium is it really outstanding? I have a hard time believing that it would be given its limited ordinance, and the one good weapon that could make is shine (PPC) is in nerf lala land.

Even by your definition the term "DOA" is a massive pile of hyperbole.
