Rovertoo, I am coming here for a team with no role playing, no obligation, just Meching! I stick with whatever Mech I get kills in at the time, and I am under Mountain time in the US.

Also, I would like to not feel obligated to use a mike if I don't need to, but I can if necessary. Thanks!

Name: Benjamin
Callsign: Racer Xonclar
Timezone: EST
House/Faction: Lone Merc
Playstyle: Skirmisher, Heavy Fire Support, Tank
Roletype: Front line wall o' metal, Brawler
Preferred Weight: Heavy and Assault, with select Mediums
Favorite 'Mechs: Post-Clan Invasion (Shadowcat, Blackhawk, Annihilator, Mad Cat); Pre-Clan Invasion (Blackjack, Stalker, Atlas, Awesome)
BattleTech Experience: Mechwarrior 2-4, some Battletech Tabletop
Competitive Experience: DotA2, Planetside 2, CS:GO, WH40K Tabletop, some TCGs (including Scrolls and MTG)

Sadly, my knowledge of Battletech is less than I'd like, since I don't know the lore that well, despite it being my 3rd favorite universe. Still safe I know my way around a 'Mech cockpit though. I'm generally a strange blend of laid back and being serious, to the point of being hard to describe. I play to win and I put my best forward every time, getting frustrated when I do badly or I feel my actions are having no impact...yet I still know how to laugh and enjoy myself. Guess the easiest way to put it is I just don't want to screw around or goof off, but I'm not going to crack a whip or make the game my day job.
For a MWO example: The guy that didn't duck behind a rock to dodge shots from 1 of the 3 mech shooting at him or kept hitting RT instead of CT will never get on my nerves. Everyone has room to improve, but competence is being shown. The guy that hasn't landed a shot yet, is dumbfiring LRMs, or just alpha strikes constantly till he overheats and dies...he'll get on my nerves :)

For those curious, I do have a proper mic and headset, but I'm kinda meh towards using Teamspeak/Vent/Mumble. Mostly just lazy lol; I've kinda enjoyed not having to run 3 separate programs to play a game  Plus I rarely fit in most groups, so I kinda just sit there quiet.

EDIT: I also wouldn't be classified as the most family-friendly person, unless that's a family of foul-mouthed perverts cracking dirty jokes for the laughs :P

House/Faction: none merc but willing to join for a good group
Playstyle: Flanker, Fast response to developing situations, Light Mech eater
Experience: table top, all the MW games

Currently obsessed with Dragon chasis. I know, I know, they got a bad rap, but mostly it's because most people don't know how to pilot 'em. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not the second coming of Martin Takeda but I'm a journeyman mech pilot. Drop a 350XL engine in there for starts and wit speedtweak I'm running nearly 110KM/HR which ain't bad for responding to enemy units harassing our LRM boats, or for flushing out the enemy. In a pinch can be used for scouting or fast cap if the need arises. I love it when lights think they can safely outrun me.

Sure, I can jump into a different chasis. I can lob LRMs from the back or chug an assault mech into the thick of things and put up a fight, and sure I can jump into a raven and harrass and scout, but with competent pilots beside me I can do a lot of damage in my trusty Dragon.
