Experience: Lived on Battletech3025 back in the day as a member of [AA] and have played all of the various MW video games and some TT. Also have spent way to much time on various FPS and MMO's in the past 15+ years. No real preference on the style/weight/role I play as long as it's a flexible team. Not looking to be shunted into a one mech role.

Timezone: GMT/UTC + 02:00 hour
House/Faction: Merc (free to be drafted)
Playstyle: Sniper, support
Roletype:Med to long range
Preferred Weight: Medium or Heavy and Omni
Preferred Chassis: Hunchback, Madcat/timberwolf
Experience: Cresent Hawk 's Revenge, Mechwarrior 2-4, Mechwarrior 4: mercs, Mechcommander 1 & 2
I have played very little online/lan battles of mechwarrior but have played in plenty HON, DOTA, COD4 tournaments so I do understand the concept of team and helping to get kills instead of just taking them.
I have always been a big Mechwarrior and Battletech fan but still getting to grips with ALOT of the lore. I am familiar with some of what is going on and am learning more and more as I go.
Most of what i have learned is from the games and from the Battletech animated series (which I wish they would remake or make a new series of)
when it comes to Teamspeak, to be honest I have never used it...thats why i would love MWO to implement built in VOIP (ala HON), would make life easier. BUT I am willing to use it.

Callsign: Azok (although my in-game handle is Azok1987)
Timezone: GMT (England)
House/Faction: Lonewolf/Mercenary (although I do have a crush on House Liao)
Playstyle: Long-to-medium range support/harrassment
Roletype: Support/Recon
Preferred Weight: Heavy (I am loving the Dragon and I am looking to get me a Catapult soon!)
Experience: MechWarrior experience includes: MechWarrior 2, MechWarrior 2: Mercenaries, MechWarrior 2: Ghost Bear Legacy, MechWarrior 3, MechWarrior 3: Pirates Moon, MechWarrior 4, MechWarrior 4: Black Knight, MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries and now MechWarrior Online!
I have participated in several tournament-style matches in all these games as part of (and in most cases, the leader) a Clan/Mercenary Outfit. I have played in several planetary-styled leagues also, such as NBT, Mech Lord League and War! Online.
I am looking to become part of a team again. I have drop lead experience in all other MechWarrior games but I am not looking for a command position - I just want to be part of a team once more and not have to play solo all the time.
Plus I love skirmishes.

Name: Mr G
Callsign: Mr G. Just G works too.
Timezone: EST, GMT-5
House/Faction: all over the place
Playstyle: whatever my current whim is.
Roletype: I can fill any slot pretty well.
Preferred Weight: None, though currently I have mostly mediums since that was what my last unit needed for their competition team. I currently have 23 mechs and have at least two mechs from each weight class fully elited. Most of them are mastered.
Experience: MechWarrior 2 mercs, MechWarrior 3, MechWarrior 4. The list goes on. I don't really feel like listing them all. I've been playing MWO since August. My stats are okay. My KDR is about 2 and my win loss is 1443/827 if you were curious. Like I said; ok. If you want more info I'll give it to you.
I don't play nearly as much as I used to. I'm down to like four hours a week if that. Though that would go up if I end up running with a fun group again. I've played competitively in RHOD. My last unit made it to the playoffs actually. Whether or not I want to do so again depends on the Corp I end up running with. If you have plans for a Star Citizen section and have a couple guys that occasionally play War Thunder that would be ideal.

Timezone: Eastern Time - US
House/Faction: Mercenary
Playstyle: Mercenary for hire, big interest in CW participation
Roletype: Fire Support/Main body attack group
Preferred Weapons: Direct fire support energy, PPC, ERPCC, ERLL, LL.
Preferred Weight: Assault, Heavy
Experience: So far just PUG drops. I actually enjoy running my AWQ-8 and usually do pretty well with it; my JM6-S is the FOTM and one I enjoy playing with AC40, but I'm not sure of the long term viability of that build. Plan on settling into a Highlander or Orion as a long term solution after seeing the staying power of those builds. Looking forward to the Clan arrival as well to run a Vulture.
I like playing PUG drops, and usually rank in the top 3 on the scoreboards, but with CW coming I'm looking for an opportunity to be part of a more active group that plans on being a part of the CW community. A merc corps would be preferable, but I'm all for the right House unity as well. If I had my druthers, I'd pick some Dragoons-related unit; Zeta Battalion specifically.
Obviously voice comms are essential for unit drops, and I'm familiar with Ventrilo, TS3, and Mumble - Vent preferred.

Playstyle: Fire from cover/long range, then move in for the kill
Roletype: Support
Preferred Weight: Heavy and Assault
Experience: Many years of gaming, MW2, 3, 4 back in the day (though, not online really). Most recently console games on various fps
I love mech games, I am not too much into the role playing aspect of some of the clans I've seen out there. I am looking for some good people to drop with, hopefully with voice communications, and looking for a good team leader to direct me and the rest of the lance to many victories. Pretty much just pug drops, but on rare occasions, I've been paired with good teammates who used the chat functions well, and it was really fun. I'm willing to be flexible, learn new roles if needed.
I got a bunch of offers, so I'm good for now until I decide on one to join, thanks for the interest.

house/faction - merc, merc, merc (displaced kurita)
Playstyle: variant
Roletype: heavy scout/skirmisher
a skirmisher for those that are unaware are those who specilize in light to heavy mechs (usually focusing on medium). enjoy a custom build but are willing to shift combat style without sacrificing mech type. each skirmisher adapts to a situation and flows with the rest of the group. these combat pilots are usually the loud mouths, the "i can do what i want", "my stats stand for themselves", or that seem to not be very good at fitting in with "the norm". they tend to rush forward. locate enemies, report, and then engage.. most often times without support. a skirmisher tends to fall back if outnumbered or if they are out gunned and support is not emminent, however will circle back behind and engage from the rear (weak point of heavy and assaults). they tend to bite off more than they can chew and often find themselves face down, on the kill boards first...harriers and stormers the objective of a skirmisher is pretty basic...spread the damage out..weaken heavier mechs to make them easier kills later in the game...while it looks like suicide to most...softening up those assaults early on in the game make for a definite win later. a good skirmisher will toss out 100-200 pts of damage in the first 5-10 (average is 6) min of a game, (sadly usually dying within 15 or "halfway point"). focus on assists, targeting (tag), info gather, harrass assaults (hit and fade) and just being a general pain in the *** for the enemy team. other tactics include cold start attack, death from above, over heat chicken...and afew others.
(sadly a skirmisher does not always find a niche in a party of "hey lets stick togethers" or on the flip side "your a light mech go scout" group. this makes us pretty incompatable with "rigid structure societies" though we definintely need rules and guidance more than most. a good way to look at us is those pilots who say i can fly anywhere, and accomplish any goal, but do not tell me WHAT to fly or HOW.)
Preffered weight: medium (though can range up or down depending on stress level)
Experience: mw2 mercinaries, mw4 mercinaries. mw playstation. table top (fasa), table top (gw)
most of my experience lies in my table top gaming. old style keyboard pilot please bear with me.
table top ran hosted an outreach merc style ongoing tourney. 20 merc units. 149 table games. 3 fasa sanctioned tourneys... then i got old and needed to get a job.. blah fml... lol. hosted a BBS site for mw2 mercs... been waiting 17 years for this. I have limited time slots to play a couple of days out of the week usually weekends and a day or two during the work week. I usually play from 2-3 hours tops when I can get to play.
