Profile of a medium, speed of a medium, armor of an assault, firepower of an assault.
Even I am getting one. I might not, but it is very likely.

Beyond that, your guess is as good as mine.

Don't worry though, they will ... "adjust" ... it right on time for the CB release so it's not so powerful.
Not before then, though; the ones that paid real money for them mustn't feel cheated.

I'm calling Victor-style agility nerfs. But this time instead of an 80 tonner handling like a 100 tonner, it'll be a 75 tonner handling like a 150 tonner.

... armor of an assault...
That's a neat trick. Give me a hint. How do get the armor of an assault onto one?

Well, if they give it a quirk to be allowed to fire all 3 gauss rifles at the same time, that's actually not an awful mech to use. That's 27 tons of standard armor, plus a lot more internal structure to chew through.
Kinda sucks in the mobility department, though. 2/3 speed.

1) My Shadowhawk is about as tall as a Dire Wolf. That's a problem with Medium mech scaling.
2) The TBR is actually close to the same overall size as the Cataphract.
3) It has the Armor of a 75 ton mech. Exactly. It can have less, but not more.
I promise you the Shadowhawk and Stormcrow are both more nimble than the Timber Wolf.

most will be nublets who just want the nostalgia or they want it because of the "OP factor" but wont have any idea how to pilot it well.

I am positive that many players wont pilot them any more and will try and pick on the T wolves newbie pilots to dissuade them from continueing as a matter of fact.

Profile of a medium *might* be correct, but "speed of a medium, armor of an assault, and firepower of an assault" is just plain wrong.
The Mad Cat plays by the same rules as all other mechs. It had an oversized engine for a typical 75t mech, so it's fast. It has the same maximum armor points as all other 75t mechs in the game (less armor than an Awesome!!!). And it has the same tonnage available to it as any other 75t mech...
The only reason why it "feels" that way is because it is one of the few Clan mechs with both Endo Steel and Ferro Fibrous along with a good hardpoint layout while being in the top tonnage of it's weight class, especially in a weight class that is heavily favored by meta players.

Also right up until the dire wolf is out. Then you'll see those everywhere and it will be glorious to circle around behind them in a light mech.

Assuming no nerfs, then everyone that has a brain and has the C-bills will get them.
Those that won't get them will do that out of principle (for being called a meta-ho) or aren't up to speed with the game...

What will probably happen when they release for cbills is that the hitboxes will be adjusted to something more like a catapults.
CT mayhem!

The Dire Whale is going to be released for spacebucks sooner than the Gato Loco...

Interestingly enough I find that the highest percentage often has the shortest wait times as the matchmaker does not enforce 3/3/3/3 for pug drops and premades tend to run 3/3 assaults/heavies before anything else (maybe a light or two before hitting x/x/3/3). Higher percentage also means you'll get matched up with an opponent of the same weight class faster. "use X for shortest wait times" is often mis-leading due to the broken matchmaker.

Forgot. Warhawk is last (for some reason?) after T-wolf. Oh well.
