That would then actually make them balanced, instead of the OP pile of manure they are now.
Brb, just loading 5 tonnes of AMS ammo.

Let me see if i can translate this...
"LURMS make me stay in cover and out of line of sight! they are soooooo OP, my 9 small laser hunchback cant even get in to brawl like a bro, bro! Instead, they need to be super easy to dodge AC rounds!"

Until that cover is negated by a UAV.
Or the air and arty strike spam comes down and forces you to move.
Or you're in an assault mech and darting from cover is hardly easy.
But yeah bro, that's exactly what I meant, you got it in one.

Dude! im glad! Air strikes can be dodge and played around by good tactics! UAVs can be shot down! Or, dont run out alone in an assault and make yourself a target! its a team game, use them teammate BRO.
Im glad though I got it right. I really hate when people come here and just moan and complain about this or that weapon and just assume they are special and things should be nerfed because it instead of playing smarter.
Im glad we will soon all be playing Cuddle Warrior Online: No Pants Dance off edition.
*edit* english failings.

Translation: I have a hard time adapting to various battlefield conditions and therefore deserve to be pandered to by PGI.
If you're of the mindset that LRM's are OP, you must live in the steering wheel underhive.

Here's a clue. There's hardly any in MW3 and a crapload in MWO.

I liked the way they worked in MW3.. In fact when I first started plying MWO, when I tried firing my LRM's for the first time I was trying to "flip" them over a rock or something like you could do in MW3, not realizing that they took off in such a sharp angle up.
If they reduced the angle that they took off at, and the angle they approached the target from I think it would bring the weapon more in line with what is "fun", and force LRM pilots to have to work a little more to hit the targets. Again, for a purely game mechanic thing and not because I think they are over powered.
It wouldn't make them completely line of sight weapons, and if you could flip them over things like you could in MW3 you could still fire from behind cover.

You make it sound like you are sacrificing a lot by loading 5 tons of AMS ammo.
In comparison to that, I have to bring 20 tons worth of launchers + 11 tons of LRM ammo. I would be majorly pissed if my 30 ton worth of weapon system gets nullified by 2.5 tons of AMS + ammo.
As is, my LRMs are pretty much rendered useless by a 1.5 ton equipment, and a tonnage free module.

This. The way LRMs worked in MW2/3/MPBT/tesla pods was so much better.
