During the count-down before the match starts, the map to the right should indicate where your team is spawning. This way during the countdown we can come up with a strategy or plan of attack that makes sense relative to our positions.

I am still fairly new but here are my 2 cents.
I think this would be good as long as both teams have the same amount of (players/time) ready.
Or have a 15-30 second delay after the last person joined
I have seen a few games were one team is waiting for 2 other to join, which I think might be an unfair advantage in pug drops, since the match starts as soon as the connect. They could miss out on the teams game plan since they were not connected yet.
I would like to see my and ADJUST WEAOPN GROUPINGS while waiting for the match to start.
How often at the beginning of a match do you see mechs testing weapon groups or just standing there readjusting their groupings before heading out with their lance.
I know I did this all the time in trial mechs when I first stared .
Since staying together seems to generally be one of the more import goals to team success (based on my limited experience so far).
For me I noticed this would be very helpful to adjust my weapon groups on hotter maps to prevent rapid over heating before them match has started. Although I have learned to do this on the fly, for me it would be nice to take care of this while waiting for the game to start.
