has any one bought any of the new small mechs they are selling and how is the detail of them ive been looking to buy some

I've seen those, they look pretty cool, but it might be hard to get enough together to have a battle. Not impossible, just that I've only seen one box at any one time, whereas the "normal" sized ones seem to be more common. That said, I haven't been on ironwindmetals for a while, and they might have a few new sets out. If so, it's a simple matter of ordering them online.

Yea I have the second starter set (clan stuff) and they're okay. They are very delicate but detailed for their size, most are in 1-3 peices( torso, legs, possibly separate arms. To use them in game play, you have to have the battle force rule book, ( PDF version available under the picture of the product itself on Iron wind metals site (for free)) Also like the SBT scale mechs most need a hex base purchased separately. But the bases are cheap, 90 cents each from IWM.
