We both had premium time and we just can't figure it out.

Form group, leader clicks play now, private match.

We must've missed something huge after that because we couldn't figure out how to actually leave the lobby to start the fight. So what do you do after that to 1v1?

Both people have premium.

Launch private match.

Make sure each that have premium are on opposite teams.

Select your options on the left side ***to include "full group deselected"

Both ready up and you will get a launch button

Does free premium time not count or something? That's what we did and we couldn't get a launch button.

Make sure you have the "full teams" check box unchecked

Have premium time (check)
form lobby (check)
one player on each team
each player assumes "company command" for their team
change options on left so "full teams" value is "no" (this allows teams less than 12 per side)
lobby leader should have a launch button on the upper right

Been a while since I was a lobby leader myself. If you have any further difficulty, pass along a screenshot!

I think the launch button is tucked up in the top right corner. It says launch or play now or something like that

Thanks guys. It looks like our premiums ran out so eh hehe. At least I know it's actually possible now.

Hmm, I don't remember anything about that. Maybe that's where we screwed up.

Wait wait, what? You need premium to be able to do what should be a basic function in a game?

You shouldn't 1V1 with a friend. Sure, it's great at first, but sooner or later, there's a lot of feelings involved. It could really change the friendship. Like, it may mean more to her than it does to you. She may not like that you're doing 1V1 with other people.
