Will all your mechs be assigned to the same social clan because it is linked to the pilot or are they linked by mech?

Each mech is the property of the pilot, even if she/he is in a Merc corp.

The affiliation is linked to the pilot (you), I think. At least I don't see how it can be linked to a mech.
