I agree. We should have faction and unit (if you're in a faction) decals on our mechs.

make it MC or high c-bill prices, PGI needs to make money in one or the other way and pure style is a good non p2w feature to make money.

But I would prefer user generated content.

Put me down for a default faction emblem per mech with secondary (PGI created) emblems for Cbills and personal ones (made by yourself) for MC (must be approved by PGI of course).

i agree with this i very much want some kurita decals. also i think they should add some non-faction decals too

No matter how much I like the idea of having purchasable decals on the mech like in World of Tanks I don't like the idea of them being only purchasable for mc. A big problem of the camo and paintjob department is that the stuff isn't priced smartly. It doesn't really support having a paintjob on your mech since having one doesn't make any sense gamplaywise. I've always tried spend as little money as possible on paints and camos since the beta but the pricing scheme is still a bit unfair. With so high prices everything should atleast be purchasable for c-bills because buying a paintjob with mc makes very little sense despite occasional sales.

Now I think that's enough rant, back to the topic. I think there should be an option to paint decals on your mech in a similar style to War Thunder where you can choose the place where you put the decal and you can choose the size to a varying degree but still can't spam them all over your machine. This way the devs probably don't need spend too much thinking where the decal places should be on each mech. In concept I think these decals should probably work and look similar to the angel "tattoo" which the loyalty reward mechs have. Btw, It's a weird place to have an angel don't you people think.

Yeah, there have been talk of the decals for some time now. Anyways, I think it should be possible to either buy the faction emblems with MC or earn them through CW.

i like the idea of faction paint, and an emblem. but the unit you join should have a choice of colors and patterns . maybe 2 or 3 patterns to choose from when . same with paint. and 1 emblem location ( all others are pay to stick ). whoever creates the unit paints one mech and that is the set pattern for there unit. once the unit is created your choice is set and that is what everyone that joins that unit gets. i wouldn't want to go into battle in parade ground colors.
