So, I propose we change the name. How about
Nerf Clans Online. NCO. Nah, that would be degrading to the Non Commisioned Officer ranks.
We Always Cry Online. WACO. Now this one I like.
Or if we want to keep the MWO format, we can go with
Mega Whiners Online or Massive Wussies Online
How about we buff some **** for once, like true warriors.
We keep nerfing crap and maybe we can have some Marshmellow Weapons Online (hey another MWO format) by the time Community Warfare starts.

X killed me, nerf it
I don't like X, nerf it
I use Y, it takes skill l2p
My point is this community excels at complaining.

this all started with "participation" trophies in youth sports programs.

The second PGI decided that a Clan 'Mech would be no better than an IS one, and declined to balance by tiering or numbers instead of the simplest, lowest common denominator.
Behold the results.

I agree completly. When everyone is a winner all you are left with is whiners,

I thought I was being constructive. I gave options for a name change to better reflect the community and I said we should buff for a change instead of nerf.

Was it me? Because... I don't think anyone else uses them.

No, it started when People made an outcry on the forums. It started when evertime someone got killed by a clan mechs they were OP. It started when PGI actually listened to anyone of them and they got their way and continue to yell clans are op

I'd say it all started when Mechwarrior went to Mechwarrior Online. When the focus of the game was on Single Player, no one cared enough about balance cause you're only fighting drones.
Once Mechwarrior Online came into being, it became a high priority to make sure there was a fair balance among different play styles. The old days of only having one effective play style in the multi-player aspect of a game are long gone... along with single player campaigns.

1) "Test" Clan 'Mechs in superior stat mode.
2) Await mass buying.
3) Wait for wave to die down, keep promise of making Clan = IS.
4) Resume selling "normalized" 'Mechs of both types to feed pig.
Clantech will continue to be butchered, just as planned- especially since some parts of Clantech actually have to be OVERnerfed to compensate for the parts they can't, like half-space endosteel or Clan XLs. In an ideal PGI world, a Stormcrow will just be another 55-tonner.
And since this is Paul doing the balancing, expect "balance" to equal "cripple". This started before a single Clan 'Mech got on Test, the moment Paul and company stated the Clan 'Mech would be "balanced" to match IS ones. Enjoy the results. I've been waiting for the other shoe to drop, and I figure it'll start tomorrow with the laser/LRM nerfs and keep going from there.

actually I made a thread keeping track of all the "remove this" threads. it's become quite the list. It's basically the same thing though

Nerf Chat. I want to turn it off.
Nerf Formum Warriors. Give me a down vote to put nerf threads where they belong.
Nerf Desyncs. Fix the game. I am sick of getting desynced and having to rejoin. BTW, the rejoin option that took two years to develop could be considered a nerf that has already been placed on desyncs.
Nerf Unknown Errors. Fire a developer or two and motivate the rest to fix stupid **** like this.
Nerf UI 2.0. The amount of menus are OP. Reduce how many clicks it takes to get to my engine size. Right now I can just menu away and see all kinds of useless information. This is way OP.
Nerf Paul's Nerf Bat. Make it so that when he swings it at something that is already encased in Nerf, it bounces off an hits him in the mouth...HARD.

Nothing good can come from this thread.... so, locking it before it gets further into unconstructive territory.
