I just changed the loadout of my rs atlas and for some reason it replaced my 300 engine with two double heatsinks, this was after I clicked save. Now it claims a critical slot violation and strips my center torso which is fine, except now my 300 engine is gone, ie not in my inventory. So if you guys could give me back my engine you stole....that'd be great.....

maybe the engine is just not visible, try to remove the heatsinks from the CT. Sometimes saving readds old removed components. This is causing slot violations because a section suddenly uses more slots than it has.

When I go to configure it gives me a promt to strip center torso for slot violations. When i click ok it strips the ct but still gives me alerts, and all the alert says is ERROR. and still when it strips my 300 is no longer in my inventory or anywhere. When i try to replace the engine it still wont let me save only stating the aforementioned error alert. Thanks for the tip but seems to be a no go

I had this error before.
Pretty sure all you need to do is keep stripping your mech and saving it until it stays empty, then log out, log back in.
Engine should be in your inventory again.
Their database doesn't always sync with your client inventory, its a rare bug, but does happen.

I once had 5 engines on my CTF3D. I couldn't use it obviously and I couldn't strip it since it would crash every time i tried to. I had to sell it and buy a new one.....

You're welcome.
Yeah its an old bug from when they first switched to UI 2.0, if you got old builds lying around ect, you'll have to repeat the same process.
