I was wondering if the founder mechs will be able to have alternative camo, or will they be stuck with the one they have for authenticy?

i think that you can change it ,like for every other mech if you buy a skin for them.
But i think that you will have to pay these skins with the ingame currency for which you have to pay real money

Naw. i don't think they will charge to re-skin your mechs in real money. In C-bills yes but not Premium Credits. If you bought the legendary you have already spent $20 on each of the 4 mechs so it would be conceivable that the paint patterns for the skins are already unlocked for those mechs. It would be a added bonus for being a founder afterall the founders pack is only introducing mech that everyone already can get with a C-bill tweak. Its not like thy had their own mech that only went with the premium packs which i was personally hoping th legendary pack would include.

then again, you've got $80 worth of ingame currency to play with anyway by default if you've got a founder's mech.

The premium 'stripes' could be just another layer on top of your selected skin.

as far as pay to win goes, I don't like those kinds of sellouts.
HOWEVER, if they were to say, release paint jobs like mlp or hello kitty skins for money, or offer some kind of modding program that valve has proven to be so successful, they could stand to make a lot of money
I'm serious here, getting your community involved in content creation and supporting them every step of the way is a great way to make everybody money. but I guess what i'm really saying is this game needs hats.
