My assumption is it will be potato based:
Eat 3 large helpings of fries.
Eat 15 large helping of fries.
Eat two, uncut, fried potatoes.

The info has been posted and yes, it does require exactly four people to participate.

This event is a terrible idea without some sort of in game lobby system, and c3 is a joke. (even an irc based system like just about every other f2p uses would suffice, just as long as it was actually in the game and not dependent on 3rd party ware or finding people to group with on other sites/forums.)
If anything I hope this event shows how few people will actually partake in this without some sort of lobby. (I figure on a low number outside of the few hardcore people who made up their own lil merc groups/clans that haven't left yet.)
In short I wont be participating in this event, can't round up the players in game, and not going through the efforts to 3rd party to make an unreliable lance in repetition just to get those 3 tiers of reward. I've already killed an entire weekend on the solo drop event, and that was bad enough.

Right there with ya...
Back in the beta days, I had loads of people to play with. Most have moved on to other things. I'm lucky if I have 1 or 2 people from my 50+ friends list online. So, pretty good chance that I won't be participating either.

The real shame of it is that there will be enough participating for PGI to think it was a success and encourage more of this ridiculousness. Would it not have been more reasonable to allow 2-4 player groups? Yes it means that 2 player groups get l;ess points and have to work twice as hard... but at least they could participate.

What are the specifics? I don't see a topic from PGI on this for once.
Also does it have to be a full lance or can you group up with 1 or 2 others?

Thank you...although I don't like the fact the news section can't even be accessed by the Forum section.
Oh well.

Just look at the MWO main page. There are updates posted there about the challenge and the sale.

While that's undeniably true I, personally, went solo for a reason and that hasn't changed. I like playing solo, frankly. And, I admit that previous challenges really messed up the PUG scene as thousands of non-PUG players suddenly had to start dropping solo. Many of whom really had no idea how to play in a PUG, from what I can tell

So, I'm forced to sit this challenge out. But it matters little, as I still have a few empty bays, & I still have my 90 days banked from my clan pack, so the incentive is barely here for me.

Admittedly, I've been a little lackadaisical in searching for a lance for this challenge, peeking at my friendlist of offline random players from previous random groups and the quiet teamspeak channels. If only MWO had its own way of forming lances (and entire teams) from individual random players looking to play....
