These mechs started out as fun to use but lately they suck big time. I have a really hard time doing more than 100 damage now. They die after only a couple of hits and do not seem to do the damage they use to do' esp. erlrm's.. My question is why does a fun to play mech now suck. I have IS mech's with similar weapons and can do consistent 300 to 700 damage every time. What happened. So far these clan mechs are not worth the money spent on them.


Ignore this post I was just having a bad day. Went back to getting my kills with my lights. I don't suck with my lights or mediums. I'll get rid of the lasers.

timberwolf is the most op mech of the game, if you do less than 700 per game with it, you suck.
your skill needs to be fixed, not the mech. (or maybe your mechlab skill)

Clan Lasers just took a significant hit....were you boating them on your TBR's? Have to adjust to their new values if so.

that being said...they remain the best heavy in the game imo. There's been no tweaks to reduce their status in that respect. While the IS has edges in many areas, the TBR is a beast of synergistic talents. You probably just need to tinker with your builds, being mindful of the recent patch changes AND play a bit less aggressively. They are a strong mech, but they aren't invincible. Mayhaps you've gotten too aggressive with them because you got more confident in them (or perhaps your Elo went up and now you're facing better competition that doesn't simply get steamrolled by your TBR play).

Yes, because the TBR sucks so bad it is pretty much the ONLY heavy used right now in group-queue.
