I'm not one of those great pilots who claim to do 600+ per match. For me doing 200-300 is great so these are two super rare matches I had. Post screen shots or links to screen shots of your personal high scores using only the hero light mechs with any load out. For my Oxide I had two srm fours and two srm sixes. I think Huggin was stock except for dhs upgrades.

Haven't dropped in a hero in a while, these scores were from one night earlier this spring when someone on the forums said they hadn't seen a TDK in ages, so I decided to drop a few times to represent :)

haven't recorded much recently - internet issues with 20% packet loss have not been kind to mwo time. Had a few 900-1000 damage ember games last night, so TWC's routing issues might finally be resolved :D

here's a couple i screenshotted last night

Hey JediPanther,

I run an Oxide as well. All solo - 288 matches, 275 kills with 214 deaths (1.29 k/d - but who cares) and my average damage is 330. Had higher k/d a few weeks ago but sync issues have dropped me a bit lately.

The Oxide is one of those hidden gems that I am surprised people really don't play. I usually run a 4x4srm 280XL or a 3x6srm 265XL - both with 5 tons of ammo. The 280XL gives a running speed of 142 which I think is a good speed vs damage capability. I have thought about a 20SRM heavy hitter but I like running fast as a personal preference.

In fact I love the Oxide so much I actually bought a second this weekend because it was 50% sale. Thus if I get killed early in a match I can drop straight into my other Oxide and just go for it.

I'll try to post up a few images tonight of my higher scores - also have to work out how to post :)

Cheers!
Eboli.

Getting a high score in a light just depend on how much people shoot at you.

Someone called for a hero light? You get me instead because the Anansi is abysmal. Sorry for the convenience.

I've lost the screenshots, but I've only ever been able to break the '600' barrier for lights a few times - some lucky games with the Pirate's Bane and some much luckier games with the Huginn (pre-nerf).

I've found a good match relies on a mix between a combination of luckiness not being overly targetted, and the skill of knowing how to make the first variable more likely.
