Hello..

New player to MWO but not to MechWarrior/BattleTech....player the PC and actually played the RPC game (bought and painted the figurines, helped build land structures for play,etc).

Looking for a group to play with and to join Draconis Combine.

Right now working on getting familiar with game play (already played in 2-3 public matches) and getting set up on Mechs.

Look forward to it...

Join their team speak servers, none to my knowledge require you to "join" the unit before dropping with them.

Welcome. Just remember that this game kinda plays more like a cross between Mech 4 and MechAssault than the earlier entries, and that the metas here are worthless in tabletop and the metas in tabletop are worthless here.

So while the basic knowledge will help you, don't be afraid to ask things.

Community Warfare is still a bit away, but the first phase is coming soon.

(Keep in mind there's a challenge going on for getting up to 50 wins, so I don't know if you'll see it but for right now for my experience in the matchmaker all the cheese has been brought out and is getting stale. You shouldn't encounter it until after 25 matches but if you do experience this, it'll 'end' on Monday).
