My personal favorite was the Black Hearts Command lance against the Wolfs Dragoons Command lance with them defending on Luthien on the long valley map. We had 2 BJs and a Treb sitting at our end of the valley raining death on their Med laser hunchies. I think they had one lrm 10 hunch though possibly. I was in YLW Centurion and went on the outside of the valley on the side WD was coming down. When 3 had passed my position I went over the top and started shooting all 3 in the back with the AC 20 and shooting Trygon in the face with my rear facing lasers. By the time it was over, I was on the ground along with the front 3 WD mechs and Trygon all alone to finish facing 3 untouched meds raining long range death on him. I would have loved to be in TS to hear Trygon that night

OK I got one, it was when I had just started the game. Three Commandos and One Javelin with lasers on each team, it was mountainous terrain.
I start out scouting for my lance, not even a minute in I run into the entire enemy lance. I kick it in high gear and run, meanwhile the rest of my lance flanks the enemy and engages from there rear, the enemy was surprised to say the least. At that point I spun around and started attacking too. I managed to take out the lead Commando right away, the other two were double teaming one of my own so I intervened and got my second kill of the day. That's when one of our Commandos bought it, the other legged waiting to be finished off, but I avenged them soon after. While all this was going on my lances Javelin and the enemies were going at it like crazy, ours lost. I was pretty beat up from the earlier battles I knew it wouldn't have taken much to finish me off. He turned toward me and gave me an alpha strike to the chest putting in into the red and knocking out every weapon system on my mech save a flamer, and to my amazement he overheated and shut down. Well I did everything that I could and limped up to him holding the trigger for my flamer, one hit, two hits, then I closed my eyes as I see his mech powered back up, arms leveling at my head, last shot last chance, flamer hits and he explodes! I got credit for killing the entire enemy lance (assisted of course!) That day was hands down the best day ever on that game.

I, um, like the, um, time, ah, we won.
Actually one of my favorite memories was a time we lost. Hard.
It was the tourney that was run on Solaris (this is embarrassing, but I can't remember the name of the team, but it was a Davion merc group. Believe the guy running it was Merlin). Fantastic drops against some beautifully coordinated lances. That was how the game was meant to be played. We didn't win, but the difference between victory and total defeat was always a matter of milliseconds.
So many great lancemates back in the day. Deathraider (who put up with my crazy ranting when things would get really hairy, and never lost his cool), Gabriel, Trukilla (I'll never forgive him for getting me to try some Korean MMO that was in beta where you basically just killed endless amount of slimes), Damecles (of course), Zepster (AKA joystick pirate), and oh yeah, I think there was some new guy that used to hang around us, hoping our cool would rub off on him, named Starkiller (seriously dude, put a little more effort into your name. Look at mine, ph instead of an f!! That's genius!!)

Pretty much any time I dropped in MPBT:3025 with Lord de Sais and/or Stryker we wiped the floor with the enemy
I don't remember many specific matches, but I do recall a few times that my PUG dropped and attempted bumrushing only to have their ***** handed to them while I racked up all 4 kills in my BJ by standing at range with my AC2s pounding away at cockpits
A couple more organized fights I remember actually running out of ammo and running around trying to "melee" with my BJ or getting assists by ramming and sticking the enemy in place for a few friendly alphas.
