Then we managed to get them down to one artic cheater left along with me and a friendly cheater. They were both in a bad way and i was nearly out of ammo which i soon spent on him. My friendly couldn't aim for love nor money so i had to try and ram the enemy when he still had two large lasers. My friendly died so i had no choice but to try and ram him to death (now legged) with seconds left while spreading the damage from his lasers. We tied..... arghhhhh.

Alas, poor Kitfox. You could not stand the greatness of the clan SRMs with such a tiny frame...
I ran out of ammo.

Technically it was three people that carried the team on this one. The entirety of this match was spent with me and the Cicada causing chaos behind the enemy, spotting for the Catapult (the other one wandered into the open and got shredded) and flushing out people standing between buildings to keep them off balance. The K2 parked up in a decent spot and did a good job of keeping the enemy assaults distracted and separated so we could pick them apart, so I have to give credit there too.
Almost everyone else clustered up in F6 to "defend" the Catapults, and by defend I mean mill around and be paralyzed by that enemy Timber Wolf zapping them in the face whenever they tried to peek out and take a potshot at someone. It wasn't until he died and most of the enemy assault lance was dead that they finally decided to filter across the river and mop up whoever was still trying to take cover from the combined LRM spam and the Grid Iron's AC/10 that just wouldn't stop smacking them (knocking a full second off the cooldown time with the quirks and a module makes it a lot more annoying to deal with).

Bishop Steiner's Urbie screenshot reminded me of my Locust Carry harder long ago...
So here it is..

Basically, myself and a couple other guys were on top one of the big mounds, while the rest of my team (8-9 people) hid behind the mound and literally did nothing for most of the game. I spent most of the game firing dual UAC 10s at 6-700 meters trying to keep the enemies back, but eventually they caught on to how few of us were actually shooting them and pushed into us. If my aim had been a bit sharper I probably could've killed a couple more guys, but regardless it was just a stupid match.
As for CW...
This match was basically "Hey, everyone run around like headless chickens and never stick together". We were very strewn out most of the time, but most of the enemies weren't great either so I was able to get most of my mechs down to ~20-25% before I died.
To make it even more annoying, the enemies avoided me at the end (They must've been super crit, I guess?) so I didn't even get to fight with my 4th mech before the match ended. Matches like this are why I'm glad I'm in a unit now.

The Urbie may be fearsome but sadly cannot carry a whole team on it's tiny trashcan shoulders.
Almost had that Direwolf at one point too but then his meddling friends showed up.

Some days it just doesn't pay to turn up to the match (well, technically it did pay; still over 100k for the loss).

Sorry the image is so ungodly awful. I didn't have my screenshot key bound at the time so I just snapped a shot with my phone for posterity.
