A tie but was so close to defeat was quite a tense game actually our team had been exchanging shots all the way through the game but the other team just played better and used their light mechs effectively it wasn't long before our team started crumbling. So myself and another mech. A very well piloted Kintaro retreated to let the turrets help us.
The enemy mechs refused to close in as it began to become apparant they were all hurting. The kintaro had lost both arms and was in a bad way with only 3 LRM5's left i still had armour but was heavilly damaged. i decided that sitting around and relying on the turrets was a bad idea as sooner or later they'd rush us. A raven tried but failed as i killed it then i pushed a bit further affield and found an adder and a stalker hiding under the railway bridge trying to take pot shots with the help of the Kintaro i pushed forward and confronted the exposed adder he dropped quickly as was pretty much fooked. Then confronted the stalker he took all my arms and side torso's off leaving me in zombie mode with a small laser in my head i pulled back and got the luckiest shot ive ever had in the game. i saw him peering between the bridge columns so i aimed rougly at his head fired my single small laser and to my amazement he droped! One mech left a Ryoken with missing armour on his ctr and leg i tried but failed to kill him and he got me.
All the while the Kintaro pilot was supporting with his lrms he too was engaging the the Ryoken but as i died he beat a retreat back to the base and hid behind the machine thing there. he waited it out till the ryoken presented himself and got a couple of salvo's off. Then the timer expired.
One of the best and closest games i've ever had!
