Hey.
I have tryed to Recruit som of my friends to this game ... but they give up fast ..... and the main problem is the learning curve is to hard in this game, i have spoken with a nother player who said if he havent joined a Merc corp he would have left MWO after 2 weeks.
So i started thinking .... and i came up with..... Single Player Tutorial (like in the old Mechwarrior games where you play the single player befor you joined internet PvP)
Make is like a real Single player campaign, (the Tutorial)
Use this to maby add more Single player stuff to the same for a small fee.
add Mechs you only can get for buying or finnish the Single playher parts...
Mang.
PS: english is not my native language

Completely agree with you.
There is a Tutorial, but it needs to be better.
It does not describe the weapons systems or even combat roles.
PGI has stated they have scripted training missions in the works, but right now it is being back logged by Communitry warfare which puts me in a kind of antsy mode. I want both, but I just want Community warfare more. I know that sounds awful.
Definitely after Community warfare though.
A scripted Fun weapons tutorial on a unique map is a must.
