Our society shows its ineptitude with its demand for people to resign or be fired from positions when they make mistakes. People make mistakes, a lot of them. This situation is something that can be learned from and not repeated.
Consider that Niko, had probably been moderating a lot of inflammatory posts for the extended weekend(or longer). That is a lot of negativity to absorb without time to relax.... pretty much a recipe for making a judgement error.
More so when you consider the incredible crassness of having a so-called professional developer compare it's disenfranchised community with lowlifes making death-threats and harassing them on the internet. Or when said developer cannot show the basic integrity to admit to having lied (repeatedly) and still refuse a refund when those disenfranchised simply want their money back without any form of forum drama.
Niko's moderation has gone from Draconian to an outright power-trip, and is so blatantly two-faced when citing the ToS of this site while flagrantly ignoring the ToS of others and then has the audacity to rile up support against said website as if MWO fans are his personal entourage of Keyboard Ninjas to attack teh evul Redditz.
Utterly laughable what happened to this place in 18 months of pure neglect.
Sickening to think sycophants giving rousing applause every time PGI update an XML file with new values as if it was some kind of Herculean effort while some college kid is building a Sci-Fi Space Game
on his own. <-See Limit Theory

Now get back to breaking mechs!
If you haven't noticed, Russ is already on this - he just edits one file and he breaks the entire frakking line-up.
