I was thinking perhaps for CW comes into play, what if 3 or 4 clans invade the North (as in lore) and 3 clans invade from the South. That way all houses will be able to fight against the clans.

It is an interesting idea. My inner fanboi just can't let me fully support it.

what if the innersphere map was turned upside down so the south became the north.

Considering how it doesn't make any strategic sense for the Clans to make a second logistics chain double or triple the length of the one they needed for Operation Revival, just to make a separate invasion corridor from a completely different direction that would have to go through Great Houses that otherwise would have no direct stake in trying to stop them?

I think the logic to justify that would be brilliantly byzantine.
Besides, you can always justify Mariks and Liaos fighting alongside as "Expeditionary Forces".

Technically all the houses did fight against the clans after the Comstar peace accord at the beginning of the full invasion. this was also where the house leaders were given clan mechs by Wolf's Dragoons and educated to clan tactics and how vastly out-gunned they were in the sense of technology.
Marik and Liao dedicated line troops to help defend FRR and support other areas while FedSuns which at the time was the FedCom unified in the Lyran sectors of space. Draconis Combine stood alone for awhile but later received support with the backing of Victor Steiner-Davion prior to the Trial at Tukayyid in attempt to reclaim some DC space after they'd been driven back to Luthien.
Though even with the original map in place I'm pretty sure all the houses had some action against the clans in the NBT which CW seems to operate on the same scale of a whole innersphere map to function with. So it might just come to be that it'll work that way again.

Lore wise doesnt make sense and would cause an uproar.
Now, a positive to the clans only attacking a few of the houses is that players who wish to just fight IS v IS have houses they can join that will only see that type of action. I have a feeling the Marik house will become popular with the anti-clan crowd.
