I find it odd how people keep posting that they need a unit then every clan jumps on the post trying to impress them. The warrior should be trying to impress the clan not the other way around. If you want to join clan wolf, go to the first post with the list of units(Clan Wolf Touman), check out their webpages, and talk tot them on TS.

I'm rather puzzled how you came to that conclusion from the original post. The growing number of threads from single players asking which unit to join pushes all of our recruitment topics down collectively, and encourages more of a, "First come, first serve," grab like attitude amongst the various galaxies.

Encouraging players to find which unit is best for them allows for better recruits overall because they won't feel coerced to go along with whichever unit happens to reply first, which may or may not be the right unit for them. Add on top of that it keeps the subforum cleaner, which gives better visibility to the recruitment topics for each of the galaxies. Sounds like a win-win for everybody.

I talked about this many times and I will say many more times. Clan Wolf section turns into a bunch of spam and flood a-la "I am 100500 years of experience in battletech and in MWO and I need the best clan"... We need ONE topic with "FIND UNIT" and moderator who will monitor this section and carry back messages in one topic.

They are not trying to impress them. They are trying to be courteous, friendly, and helpful. I do not understand why you immediately leap to conclusions of weakness... or why other members of Alpha Galaxy agree with you when they engage in this behavior as well.

Please, first off I never stated my political affiliation. Second, if you believe this, you've other A) never really looked into this Don't know very much.

Well not all Clan Wolf unit are rude Demona... There is still hope that some of us will be working together during Com Warfare...

Kappa and Delta have a good relationship and Kappa will be more than happy to assist you unit as well when you need us...

There is so much on this topic that seems out right ridiculous. To make potential recruits sort through galaxy and unit recruiting pages and possible websites before making a decision on which to joining outright silly. No one is going to sort through walls of text to hours just to join someone's 'pretend club' on a game. And on note of making them impress you so they can join you, well, just reading that made my clanner blood want to make me say quite a bit and not a single bit of it nice, but I will refrain and remain civil, if you did that, you would no longer receive new recruits.
