In the past two weeks, I have helped others with connection issues:

First, Check your SSL and TSL settings
  • Internet Options --> Advanced
  • scroll down to the Security section and make sure you have these checked:
  • Use SSL 3.0
  • Use TLS 1.0
  • Use TLS 1.1
  • Use TLS 1.2
Second, Flush DNS Cache on PC and Router
  • Reboot your router. I just had him pull the power and count to 10. This is important if you connect wirelessly since wireless connections rely on the router for DNS, including DNS caching.
  • open a command window on your PC and run: ipconfig /flushdns
