Hey all, not sure if this is a bug, or working as intended (if so please explain).

Other day while playing in my CPLT-C4 ON Caustic, and I randomly got a C-ECM assist.
Just curious as to why this happened? (Did I kill someone that had ECM, or someone that was countering our ECM?)

Did you put a BAP in your mech? It counters one enemy ECM within 150m radius.

You TAGed, NARCed or BAPed an enemy 'mech with ECM, deactivating it and he was damaged while it was off.

Don't forget, UAVs also provide some Counter-ECM

Do they ?
They don't deactivate the ECM, they "just" make the 'mech targetable... don't use them often so I'm not sure if they give a C-ECM reward.

ECCM (ecm on counter mode)
UAV

all these things can provide C-ECM assist
C-ECM assist is provided when you have broken an enemys ecm protection and they take damage from a team mate

Yes, they do. Although the term "countering an ECM" is misleading in that case, because it has only been made "target-able".

You also can get multiple C-ECM awards from one UAV. It then depends on how many different ECM-equipped have been made target-able for at least 5 seconds.

Ahh got it, thanks for the info all.

I had Narc, so it must've been that.

That being said; is there a list somewhere of all possible rewards one can get? (Savior Kill, NARC/Tag Bonus, C-ECM Assist, Regular assist, etc etc...)
