Clocking in at 85 tons of hot metal death, the Hellslinger is equipped with dual PPCs, 4 medium lasers and three streak-2 SRMs.

A unique battlemaster chassis manufactured by Hollis Incorporated's flagship production facility on Corey.

Edit:
Here are some screenshots.
First a set with default colors and only PPCs in the arms (to show the nice camo) and then another set with black/black/beige with 2LP, 4ML, 2SRM6 loadout.
Enjoy!

"Less environmental bonuses/penalties" is exactly correct.

Quote

External heat sources (hot maps, cold maps, flamers, cooling in water) only affect the mech half as much.

So it builds up less heat from environmental heat sources, but doesn't lose as much heat to environmental cooling sources.

awesome paint job!

I'm think the mech has less environmental bonuses/penalties. Odd quirk, but whatever.

Haha, camo looks nice =) Just hoping for those who plan to buy it, that the black channel isn't fixed.

Interesting. Does the ambient heat on the map only have half the effect as well? Or is it only standing in water/lava?

Battlemaster with no ballistics at all, and negative torso quirks...

NOPE.

So many negative quirks in this one. I guess they really wanted this to be strictly ranged support. Compared to other 9 hardpoint Battlemasters, this one has a higher torso twist range and that's about it. It's also a E+M 'Mech which guarantees that it's going to be running hot no matter what. If you really want an Assault 'Mech that mounts E hardpoints on both arms with a higher engine cap, I think you're much better off with a La Malinche.

The External energy transfer quirk gives it a small niche of being a better energy boat in hot maps, but that's really not that exciting or useful. You're also at a disadvantage on cold maps, where laser boats shine.

so...anyone else see an insta-death LT on this thing? One of the few things the BLR has going for it, generally, is a good hitbox layout. Every Time you equip torso missiles, that goes out the window.

GG, close.

So just out of interest, can anyone tell me why would I get this instead of a BLR-1S? As a mech, not for grinding C-Bills.

So, do streak boxes the size of wooly mammoths do more damage? Those are not attractive features.

I can see lots removing the SSRM2's... it looks funny with them anyways... but I love the model texture, so far it's the best designed one I've liked so far :(

Different cockpit glass colour? Would love that on all 'mechs (I imagine for a price...)
