Fixed.

Yet, disturbing that "Cleaning up threads" has become the acceptable norm.
Maybe I just got used to SC where unless blatantly offensive, the mod would strike through the post and put a note about what rule was violated.

Not from what Ive seen. I got banned from there lol the guy over the forums didnt like me and entirely bypassed their entire strike thing and banned me outright for arguing with Heffay

Or, you know, both could learn to take your dickwaiving to PM.

Nah, why do that when you have an audience.

OMG!!! finally an admission that you are part of this?!?!?!?! *faints*

Wow, maybe having just apologized for your mistake in wrongly jumping my crap, like you did with Livewyr 3 pages ago, would have saved about 20 posts between us.

Yup, keep playing yourself as the innocent facilitator of reason, here.

Same if you just dropped it 19 posts ago but Im betting thats not gonna happen either is it?

Perhaps, though I can see both PoV on it. After all, a totally pointless post, can still distract from the main thread, if accessible. Flip side being the obvious "I'm being repressed" argument if just erased.

Of course, either way I guess is still off topic for THIS particular thread, quiaff? (guilty as charged)

Well, that could go well, or, go very entertainingly. I'm fine with either one.

Skipped a few pages there so lemme just say, the "softball" idea to pitch first could be 3PV as it was universally hated and should be easy to disable in matches but leave in the training grounds

This isn't a matter of PGI deciding they want to invest a bunch of time and money in reviewing forum ideas to let players vote on. This seems like it's PGI checking for value in having some volunteers who are engaged and passionate try to interface with the st of the community to gather useful feedback. The 'pgi needs to invest more man hours reading and refining forum posts an then have people vote on stuff they haven't read about' was never on the table.

Everyone needs to step back a bit. Russ has offered to have a talk with a hundred people to find some folks willing and invested to volunteer to work on this with them. The results of that are still subject to a public vote.

This isn't about anyones ego. If you don't have an interest to participate then don't. There is no obligation here due PGI to do anything other than listen to some more specific player feedback. You want your feedback considered? Participate. There is not an option to bock PGI from listening to or coordinating such feedback. Participate or don't. If you want to participate please help us coordinate the times. If you want to suggest an alternative to Russ then do so. Nobody here gets to decide anything though, aside from participate or don't.

Well what I had always said about the csm in EVE was they could be replaced easily by a suggestion forum.

I'm sorry, but if there is something that isn't about my ego, I want it drug before me and shot!

You are, of course, right Mischief. This isn't supposed to be about all of that. But unfortunately on gaming forums, everyone views their personal idea as the only correct one, and will shout down anyone who dares dispute that fact.

If I'm wrong, and the council is supposed to be more than a data collection service, I would love to be part of it. But the more I read about it, it seems like it's just an outsourcing of Niko's job. Am I wrong?

And we're expecting what from this?

They call these forums the brown sea a lot; and even the cream of that crop would still be the same color Id think

Yeah, I think you are. You are right about the ego part though, I dont think we need elitists for the part.
