Anyone else get a high ping increase since the recent patch? I use to have a ping from 60-70 and now I'm 100-170. Did the servers expanded, move, or bug fix caused this issue. I live in USA in nebraska I shouldn't be having these issues should I?

The game is still playable but just wondering what happened.

Do you have AT&T?

I had higher than normal pings (70-300ms) and lots of dropped packets last night. I did testing this morning and the ping has returned to what is normal for me (50-55ms) without dropped pings


I also noticed that the routing of the traffic was different today than yesterday. IT went through level3.net routers to get there this morning. Last night it was going through Telia. (see below)

My guess is that Telia had some issues and was causing the problems so AT&T switched to another route to get to gc.ca. It is just a guess though.

no I have cox cable and I'm wired connection not wireless, its just very strange. I think this is the only game I have high ping issues on. I'll have to wait till next patch maybe the issues will be fixed. but thanks for the help.

EDITED** Never mind the ping has returned to normal, must have been the unlocking of the mad dog on the 23 and 24th.
