Many of us have been around since the 1st ARCADE GAMES grew up in Video arcades and on Atari's and commodore 64's. We were awed at TRON Movie and gamed through all he advancements of CPU and Video rendering technology. We got in trouble with our wives buying a new video card every 6months and up grading our PC's we put together every year.

Someone told me PGI owned the rights to The Wing commander game name. If this is true... I hope you move in that direction someday. WINGCOMMANDER was a sweet game we all loved, The Movie stunk but the games were neat and with Mark Hamill acting in them was sweet. I actually thought that Star Citizen was going to be another WC game. All Of the ships, character's and Storyline. If you are going to compete with SC why not with WC game against the Kilrathi?

Id play it only if it was single player and had Full Motion Video cutscenes, with mediocre to bad acting.

Ya, wing commander would only be faithful to its IP if it included full cutscenes. Man, I remember saving up to buy a CD-Rom so I could play that game.

Good times. I played my first Battletech game on a C-64 (also Elite). Wing Commander was awesome back in the day, but not sure how it could be remade with similar spice. They would really have to have a great plot to make it work.

Wing commander prophecy had some really fun missions and was neat to see Biff as the maniac. I really liked the swarmer missile and the speed booster. Star wars Polygon games were fun until that 1st shockwave rendered kilrathy ship blew up under the missile barrage in front of my starfighter.

Ships sleek starfighters with lots of missiles and rapid firing guns and lasers.

The bomber missions to fire the massive rockets and mass drive cannons. Being able to target specific ship components , lock and destroy. The patrol missions that went sour forcing you to race all the way back to the carrier before it gets destroyed by a massive enemy ambush. Good fun! Loved it.

You are probably best off trying to hit up Russ on Twitter. Russ is the company president and probably would have a better chance to have an answer off the top of his head than Paul, though I wager Paul is still plenty worth asking. And while Russ certainly does not respond to every tweet he gets, you'll have a better chance of getting his attention with a tweet than a random message board post.
