Seriously how long until this issue is addressed?

As posted by myself and so many others:

"Leave a match - Connecting screen indefinitely."

Sometimes alt-f4 reboot MWO you can get past Connecting screen and into Mechlab after a long wait.

Most times if your last mech is still deployed, you can't get back into mechlab until the deployed mech match finishes and mech is available again.

Not sure if PGI realise that sitting at a screen saying Connecting, does not result in enjoyable gaming experience and is a serious detractor in terms of customer longevity.

This only ever happens to me very rarely, it's hardly a massive problem. Never had it permanently stay like that after I force-close the game and restart.

Maybe it's just for customers they don't like.

My apologies for this annoying issue. It is now fixed and will definitely be in the Sept 23rd patch.

I may consider a hotfix this week, but ideally would stay focused on that 23rd patch.

But finally fixed, sorry again.

Now there you go, that's how it's done.
You might not be able to reply to all issue at any given time.
But stick your head out of the door every now and then and say.
"Hey we got this."

If PGI cared about its customers they would do something about the constant stomps. It hasn't been this bad since 2013 and the pug queue is a 12/0 wasteland between those that get lucky and those that quit the MWO brand.

My main question is... WHAT HAPPENED? From my extensive experience it's not pros flooding the pub queue.. I see equal number of known names on each side. Communication is at an all time low, which hinders teamwork. That's a BIGGIE right there. Also, I've noticed lots of pug teams without ECM which always (YES ALWAYS) results in a loss for them. Last but not least are the flood of uber newbies coming back to see if the game has improved... and WHY DO I ALWAYS GET STUCK WITH THEM????

No seriously... I put in my time grinding up stock mechs through unnerfed clan mechs and it was HORRIBLE. Then when I finally get something viable to have fun with... the MM decides to place me with brain dead kids thinking this was mario party. Yes this is a rant but GOD DAMN TAP DANCING JESUS the pup queue has been worse since Redditgate than it has been since 2013. I'm about to shove that needle in my arm and call myself a tryhard if this keeps up because parasites keep leaching off my matches and we still lose because they stare at the pretty colors in the sky.

The TL;DR version of this post is "MWO" is no longer fun pugging anymore. PERIOD. The half-assed mechanics of the game are too difficult for the casuals to grasp while the pros master then instantly and proceed to go at everyone with no-lube. Why those cowards aren't in the group queue where they belong is one thing, but they are totally effing with the pub queue atm and I've NEVER... EVER .... EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR seem as many back to back stomps as I have this week/end since I started playing since 2012.

I need a drink after that. Enjoy

There should be a cancel or a retry button for "updating mech" in mech lab. When you get locked on this screen the only thing you can do is ctrl-alt-delete and close the game. Most the time I just keep It closed :)

Thank you for responding, I will certainly return to try again after the patch.
