One time, before PPCs were popular (read: before the heat buff) I ran a 4 PPC/ 1 LLas STK-5S on Forest Colony with a couple guys from the merc corps I was in at the time. It was the closest match I've ever played, and my best. After a long, tense battle, with only a few minutes left on the clock, I was the only one left on my team. I PPCed the face off an LRM catapult from the big rock in the water, but his final LRM salvo destroyed my last remaining side torso.

However I mentioned, I was in the 5S, and my LLas was the CT slot. The enemy had one player left too, and my armour was orange. It wasn't looking good. After looking around - carefully - I saw the last enemy... an Atlas-D. Oh dear. Someone had taken out his missles, thankfully, but I was still looking at an AC20 and 3 MLas. Teamspeak was silent. "Crap" someone posted in chat. But I had range, and saw him first. My laser hit his ST, but didn't break it. His CT armour was deep orange but that AC20 had to go... but not before it shot me, dead on. I didn't torso twist fast enough and it cored my CT, his lasers scoring along my torso and legs. My next shot took out his AC, and team and all chat erupted in cheers and encouragement from both sides. His lasers hit my CT slightly, but I twisted away in time, leaving it orange. My next shot took his armour off, but his lasers got a much better hit on me than his last one - and he was closing. I was backing up desperately, trying to keep my range, but even an Atlas is faster than a Stalker in reverse. We traded shots again, and a third time, leaving us both on the edge of death. He was coming up to optimal MLas range and he got another shot on target... but I didn't die. The reddest CT you've ever seen looked at the Atlas and fired a LLas, one last time, and he exploded. The spectators went wild, congratulating each other on a fantastic game. Teamspeak was all noise. Both teams agreed, that kind of epic match is why we all played. I finished with 1201 damage, and some number of kills. Wish I'd taken a screenshot really.

Last man standing doesn't happen often, but it's always satisfying.

And you're actually proud of yourself? Some day, when you graduated from Elementary School, you might regret that you said stuff like this. Give it some thought.

On second thought, nah. Don't mind me. Just keep being who you are. You will go very far in life, I'm sure.

You need it for everything MWO related. It's all about hate lately. The forum, the reddit subs, the "other forums", the game...everyone hates the developers, the people who killed them, their stupid teammates, and/or the people who support the game.

It's so CHEERY!!
