Sorry.

Very easy question.

In the new'ish UI I can not find out where to 'BUY' a module.

I have leveled up may modules using GXP under the 'Skills Tree'

I have equipped modules in the' Mech Lab', those I have bought in the past..

I am struggling to find where to purchase them with C-Bills..

When I try to move them in the MECH LAB to my mech it say it is locked.

Mechlab -> Modules -> left side you have all modules, find those you have unlocked, drag into the module slots, done.

Yup. Modules are mech gear, just like weapons and such. You purchase them in the mech lab, under the modules tab, when you equip them.

No Sir..

Not ones I've bought.

How do I UNLOCK them or BUY them.

I know how to equip those I have already unlocked or bought.

I am not being allowed to drag a LOCKED module to my mech in the MECH LAB to purchase it.

The UI isn't exactly user friendly, so don't feel too bad.

You unlock modules in the Pilot Skills tab, modules screen. After which you can then purchase them when configuring your mech in the Mech Lab from the Modules screen.

One would think they should be co-located, but that's UI2 for ya.

You "BUY" modules in the mechlab, you seem to be looking for how to "UNLOCK" modules, which is in the skill tab/pilot lab. Once unlocked in the pilot skills they will be available for purchase in the mechlab.

If its LOCKED you need to UNLOCK it under Skill -> Pilot skills (left hand)

REMEMBER(!)

Clan Weapons have a C in front of them, IS Weapons dont, so if you unlock, for example

C ER LLas

you cant use it on an IS mech and if you unlock ER Llas you cant use it on any clan mech

Make sure that you're unlocking the module for the correct faction. Clan modules only work on Clan mechs. Inner Sphere modules only work on Inner Sphere mechs.

Hi Guys.

Thanks for the replies.

Going back and looking, it was an issue I didn't foresee.

I leveled up with GXP the CLAN SSRM2 cool down to level 5, thinking I leveled up the INNER SPHERE SSRM2 to level 5... therefore I was not able to buy the INNER SPHERE module in the Mech Lab... It kept saying it was locked and I couldn't drag it to my mech...

I appreciate all the help, it was just simple user error....

Ouch. But kudos for taking it like a man*. Most would whine about it being PGI's fault etc.
