Seriously, I had very huge doubts that MWO in Players Council hands not gonna turn into unbalanced rubbish. Also there is serious doubts that Players Council not gonna change into a POP-star X-Factor alike contest where the elected councilors will turn the game balance issues for personal goods and a bunch of a Forum-FanGils will not make lobby which will affect fraction in the game.

They are so untrusted that better PGI'll screw some bits of game play than some little procent of a players get undeserved advantage.

VOTE AGAINST PLAYERS COUNCIL... STAY SAFE!

Why would a players council want to create something that's unabanced, knowing full well anything that becomes unbalanced works on either team?

Why would players who love this game enough to try to work for the community to help the devs balance the game actively seek to harm it? (and balance issues do harm the game tremendously).

Now true, elections will be to some extent a popularity contest, but it's hard to argue real elections are much different. Why not give it a try and see how it works?

They love not a game, but a some mech or some fraction. We all know that, admit it.

I don't care about the council - but PGI doesn't seem to want to tackle the issue that need to be tackled, so I'd rather a council (or even a random individual) take a stab at the issues than to maintain the status quo.

Seeing the loudmouths, to potentially be elected into the council, I am definitely voting against.

I don't want some bunch of whining nerds, dragging this game through what is their own perception of MWO.

PGI could have fixed the ECM themselves, they didn't and finally suggested the community to make proposals, thus the council is required.

It will be a one-task thing.

I vote no! MWO counsel.

But I would like a poll done by PGI in game (yes or no) 1 vote per account on ECM changes and a pro or con balance reason by the staff it should be done in the same topic based on community feedback and the PGI staffs feedback.

I would like to see this same poll done for old jump jet mechanics or new jump jet mechanics.

I agree, ECM is long overdue for some tweaks.
Its not completely unbalanced as is, there are counters that work.

What is unbalanced and where all the tears are coming from, is the pub que when 1 team has multiple ECM's and the other have 0.

I can't help but question a counsel as well, the people that will be putting forth the proposal, need to do it with the players in mind, and void of selfish reasons.

Too many Elitist people are being nominated, too many GGCLOSE "rockstars"

But I guess as long as they can put together a fair and balanced plan with EVERYONE's best interests forward, and PGI decides to go through with their proposal, that is great.

I vote no also. My suggestion is poll the players in game rather than rely on the forums for any thing past ideas.

The forum is a great place to innovate but with the majority of players not using the forum there is no way to tell how weighted opinions are here.

In game chat in solo paints a different picture than I see on the forums also so it bears looking into how the bulk of players would respond.

I don't know who your talking about and I don't care but the truth is the so called list of electives are all the same players and there team mates and alt accounts so your list is invalid as far as im concerned same goons different day.

I vote no MWO counsel . just a poll and in-game vote .
